Refund & cancellation policy

Cancelling an order

You can cancel any time before the order is dispatched by emailing pujasahityacom@gmail.com with your Order ID. Online payments are refunded in full to the original payment method. Once a parcel has been handed to the courier it can no longer be cancelled, but you may refuse delivery and the return rules below apply.

Damaged, defective or wrong items

Write to us within 48 hours of delivery with your Order ID and photos of the item and packaging. We will send a replacement or refund the item, including any shipping you paid — your choice. You do not need to return the damaged item unless we ask.

Returns for other reasons

Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery. Return shipping is paid by the customer and the item must reach us undamaged; the refund is for the item price.

For hygiene and safety, opened consumables — agarbatti, dhoop, kapur, ghee battis, haldi-kumkum and similar — cannot be returned. Puja items that have been used in worship cannot be returned.

Refund timelines

Approved refunds for online payments are issued within 2 working days and reach your account in 5–7 working days depending on your bank. Cash-on-Delivery refunds are sent by UPI or bank transfer to the details you provide.
